Terms of service

1. Proposals and scope

Each project is defined in a written proposal you accept before work starts. Work outside that scope is quoted separately and only started with your approval.

2. Payments

Unless your proposal says otherwise: 50% to start, 30% when you approve the design, 20% before launch. Quotes are valid for 14 days. Care plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance.

3. Design approval guarantee

You approve the homepage design before the build starts. If we cannot produce a design you approve within 3 revision rounds, we refund your deposit and the project ends.

4. Your content and ownership

You supply the text, images and logins we need, and confirm you have the right to use them. Once the project is paid in full, you own the website, its content and the domain. Third-party themes and plugins stay under their own licences.

5. Speed guarantee

Every page we build scores 90 or more on Google’s mobile speed test at launch, measured with Lighthouse. If it does not, we keep working at no extra cost. Changes made after launch by others are not covered.

6. Care plans

Care plans run month to month. Either side can cancel with 30 days’ notice. Unused edit hours do not roll over.

7. Liability

We work with care and test before launch, but we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the project or care plan in question.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
